Center for – Equality, Diversity, Gender

This conference marks the launch of EDGE, our new Centre for Equality, Diversity and Gender at the department of Culture and Global Studies at Aalborg University, Denmark.

EDGE is an interdisciplinary research and information centre, whose purpose is to support and stimulate research within the area of equality, diversity and gender in the widest possible sense. Hence, the conference aims to further discussions about themes such as equality and inequality at both global and local scales, gender and diversity mainstreaming, issues relating to reconciliation of work and family life etc.

We invite all researchers with an interest in these cutting edge issues to join us in discussions and help us create even stronger networks across disciplines to attract attention to questions of equality, diversity and gender and in the end strengthen research in these fields.
